BOARDING Full Board Includes: Box Stall Use of indoor and outdoor arenas Shower Stall Daily Turnout Feed and Hay Daily Stall Picking / Stall Cleaning Tack Room Space Upstairs Exclusively For Boarders Medication/Supplement Administration by Request At No Additional Charge (Does Not Include Cost of Medications or Supplements) Blanketing by Request (No Additional Charge) Worming by Request At No Additional Charge (Does Not Include Cost of Wormer) Scheduled Weekly Farrier Visits By Sign Up (Boarder Billed Directly By Farrier) Scheduled Annual Coggins Draw - Mandatory (Boarder Billed For Draw) Scheduled Spring/Fall Shots By Sign Up (Boarder Billed Directly By Vet) Scheduled Bi-Annual Teeth Floating By Sign Up (Boarder Billed Directly By Dentist) Notes: Maintree Farm uses Art Bennett for farrier services, Piedmont Equine for veterinary services and Graham Alcock for equine dentistry services. Boarders may use their own service providers but will be reponsible for scheduling their own appointments. An 8% late fee will be assessed if board is not received within 30 days of billing. All Coggins forms are kept at Maintree. Owners may make copies, but original must be kept on file at Maintree. Boarding Cost per Month: (payable in advance) Full Board - $535 Pony - $525 LEASING Full Lease Includes: Lessee gets full use of horse as if they owned the horse and is entitled to all privileges of a full boarder; lessee pays for all regular, reasonable and customary veterinarian procedures, worming, shoes; owner may require lessee to carry equine mortality insurance; must have owner's permission to take the horse off Maintree property (other than trail rides not requiring trailering to a starting location). Terms are 6 months or one year. Be advised lessee is responsible for lease fulfillment if they terminate it early. Lease will automatically be renewed at the end of term unless one month notice of non-renewal has been given to owner. Half Lease Includes: Lessee gets riding privileges three times per week; at least one of which must be a lesson (paid for at owner rate of $35 for group or $55 for private); lessee gets first priority for use of horse for shows Maintree attends as a group, fox hunting and lessons and will be charged at owner's reduced rate, however, lessee must realize horse may be used for camp, lessons, hunting or shows at any time at owner's discretion when lessee is not participating in the particular activity; lessee pays for shoes and all regular, reasonable and customary veterinary procedures and worming; Terms are 6 months or one year.
